Breakfast with Garland McFarland

Breakfast with Garland McFarland book cover, illustrated by Jessica Hsieh

About the Book

The idea of Breakfast with Garland McFarland began the morning Terry Melo's family had a graveside breakfast picnic to celebrate their dear friend, Mr. Garland, a member of their church and who shared his experience as a U.S. Army ambulance driver during WW1.

Their very young daughter Rachel enjoyed getting his attention in the pew behind them each Sunday and so a sweet relationship began between them. This book is to remember his friendship with their family and to honor his service of valor during the Great War.
